Here's the story: This winter we had two furnaces die—one for the girls apartment at the Boiler Room Community House and the other for The Prayer Garage. The first was the girls apartment in February, which died just before the one BIG snow storm this winter. Remember THAT week when a couple feet of snow fell over a handful of days?! We were so grateful that we were able to get it repaired on short notice ONE DAY BEFORE the snow storm hit so the gals were able to stay warm and safe in their apartment. Then, about a month later, the Prayer Garage furnace died as well ONE WEEK BEFORE our week of city-wide 24-7 Prayer in the garage. Again, we were so thankful to be able to quickly get it repaired by the great folks at Jacobsen Heating and Cooling before the week of prayer began.

BOTH of these new furnace expenses were unforeseen and caught us by surprise! In faith, we went ahead and had them replaced, trusting for provision to come.

The total cost for the two furnaces together was about $6,000 and the other expenses (like increased property taxes) for our general budget are $4,000, totaling about $10,000 altogether.
